Omowunmi, the widow of the late Mohbad, has shared her distressing experiences following her husband’s death.

In an emotional interview with Chude, Omowunmi spoke about her struggles to understand God’s will as she copes with the deep loss of her partner.

In a tragic turn of events, Omowunmi has received death threats on social media, leaving her feeling exposed and insecure. She believes these threats are linked to her father-in-law’s alleged attempts to take control of Mohbad’s estate.

Omowunmi made the alarming claim that her father-in-law has been defaming her and trying to ruin her life in order to gain control of the late artist’s properties.

This situation is particularly heart-wrenching for Omowunmi, as her father-in-law, who once celebrated their marriage, is now allegedly acting cruelly towards his own grandchild.

One of the most troubling accusations made by Omowunmi is that her father-in-law has falsely claimed that Mohbad intended to harm their child, even alleging that he wanted to throw the baby off the Third Mainland Bridge.

Amid widespread reactions to Tinubu’s suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu, Isreal DMW shared a 2004 front-page newspaper clipping, recalling a similar event under former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The 2004 headline highlighted how Obasanjo declared a state of emergency in Plateau State following deadly religious clashes, which reportedly resulted in the killing of over 600 Muslims in Yelwa, Plateau State.

Plateau State Governor Joshua Dariye was dismissed for failing to control the crisis, and the state legislature was suspended, losing all of its powers.

However, the suspension of a sitting governor and deputy remains a controversial issue, with many questioning its constitutionality and potential implications for democracy.

Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has sharply criticized fellow artist Speed Darlington after being invited to perform at his upcoming concert.

Speed Darlington, whose real name is Darlington Okoye, had invited Portable to perform at his event scheduled for April 13. However, Portable dismissed the invitation, stating that Speed Darlington was only imagining things if he thought he could secure his performance.

In a fiery response, Portable accused the indigenous rapper of trying to use him for publicity to boost the show. He also took a jab at Speed Darlington’s reputation, insisting that they did not belong in the same category.

“I’m not a tout like you. I’m a hero, a superstar, a celebrity. I perform everywhere—I’ve performed in London, in America,” Portable declared.

Setting his conditions, the Zazu crooner demanded a staggering ₦20 million to perform at the concert. He also claimed that Speed Darlington had previously reached out to him on Instagram with an inflated offer of ₦500 million.

Portable concluded his remarks with a warning, emphasizing that he doesn’t associate with financially struggling individuals.
