The artist known as Fave has conveyed a significant message to those who supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and voted for him in the 2023 election.

The singer appears to be disheartened by the current economic conditions in Nigeria. Fave, whose rise to prominence followed her impactful verse on a free beat by Jinmi Abdul that gained traction on Twitter, has been vocal in her criticism of Tinubu’s supporters, as evidenced by a viral video in which she expressed her frustrations.

Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, widely recognized as Fave, has made headlines with her remarks regarding the electorate that endorsed President Tinubu.

The 24-year-old artist, who achieved fame during the COVID-19 lockdown by sharing various short videos, was honored with the Rookie of the Year award at The Headies in 2022.

She also received nominations for Most Promising Artist and Best Artist in African Reggae and Dancehall at the All-Africa Music Awards, along with a nomination for Best New Artiste at the 2022 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.

In her critique of Tinubu’s administration, Fave asserted that those who voted for the president demonstrate a lack of sound judgment, stating, “I can’t believe anyone in their right senses will get to the poll and said Oh I want to vote for Tinubu.

Coroner’s Court Warns Naira Marley and Sam Larry of Subpoena for Missing Witnesses’ Hearing

The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has warned Naira Marley and Sam Larry, among other witnesses, to attend the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death or face subpoenas. Following a request from Mohbad’s father for more witnesses, the court has permitted alternative service.

The hearing, which saw only one key witness present, has been rescheduled to September 30, with subpoenas to be issued if witnesses fail to appear.

At the latest court session, only Boluwatife Adeyemo (Darosha) appeared as a witness. The hearing has been rescheduled to September 30, with the magistrate warning that subpoenas will be issued if other witnesses, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, fail to attend.

Mohbad’s family has expressed frustration with the police investigation, criticizing their reliance on witness accounts and lack of support for an independent autopsy and toxicology tests. They have called for the removal of officers involved due to alleged mishandling, but the Police Service Commission has yet to respond.

Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023, at 27, has been at the center of controversy, leading to the arrest of his former record label owner, Naira Marley, among others. The Lagos State Police have formed a special team for the investigation and conducted an autopsy after exhuming his body.
