Portable Slams Celebrities for Ignoring TG Omori’s Needs
Nigerian singer Portable has called out celebrities for not financially supporting TG Omori, an ailing music video director in need of medical assistance.
TG Omori recently faced a failed kidney transplant surgery in Lagos, with reports indicating that his body rejected the kidney donated by his brother, according to Gistlover.
While some Nigerian celebrities, including Davido and Kizz Daniel, have shown public support on social media, none have contributed financially to Omori’s medical expenses. Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, criticized this lack of action in a social media video.
He expressed frustration that prominent figures like Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and music executive Don Jazzy were able to assist Bobrisky during legal issues but have not extended the same generosity to TG Omori. Portable declared, “TG Omori has a kidney problem and celebrities are not donating money or kidneys for him, but Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky, who has no value. The industry is full of fake love.

Sam Larry and Naira Marley Face Subpoena Threat for Missing Court
Coroner’s Court Warns Naira Marley and Sam Larry of Subpoena for Missing Witnesses’ Hearing
The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has warned Naira Marley and Sam Larry, among other witnesses, to attend the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death or face subpoenas. Following a request from Mohbad’s father for more witnesses, the court has permitted alternative service.
The hearing, which saw only one key witness present, has been rescheduled to September 30, with subpoenas to be issued if witnesses fail to appear.
At the latest court session, only Boluwatife Adeyemo (Darosha) appeared as a witness. The hearing has been rescheduled to September 30, with the magistrate warning that subpoenas will be issued if other witnesses, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, fail to attend.
Mohbad’s family has expressed frustration with the police investigation, criticizing their reliance on witness accounts and lack of support for an independent autopsy and toxicology tests. They have called for the removal of officers involved due to alleged mishandling, but the Police Service Commission has yet to respond.
Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023, at 27, has been at the center of controversy, leading to the arrest of his former record label owner, Naira Marley, among others. The Lagos State Police have formed a special team for the investigation and conducted an autopsy after exhuming his body.
