Footballer Kayode Olarenwaju has initiated divorce proceedings due to paternity fraud and has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Pastor Tobi Adegboyega
Kayode Olanrewaju, a prominent Nigerian football player, is pursuing a ₦1 billion claim against the controversial UK-based Pastor Tobi Adegboyega for emotional distress, financial setbacks, and damage to his reputation resulting from his extramarital relationship with Dora Ezinne Kayode.
Additionally, he is seeking a legal separation from his spouse. Olanrewaju has previously taken legal steps in response to social media rumors questioning his paternity of the three children he shares with Dora.
The lawsuit, identified as Suit Number PET/304/2024, was filed as a counter-petition at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, alleging adultery, financial impropriety, and a tumultuous breakdown of the family.
Ezinne Dora was embroiled in a scandal involving deceit, unfaithfulness, and abduction, which sent shockwaves throughout the country.
Reports indicate that Yetunde Burstline, an acquaintance of controversial personalities Daddy Freeze and Taste Bud, introduced Mrs. Kayode to Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
It was disclosed that Pastor Adegboyega engaged in intimate relations with Mrs. Kayode, who was known to attend wild parties and frequently be absent from home for extended periods.

Sam Larry and Naira Marley Face Subpoena Threat for Missing Court
Coroner’s Court Warns Naira Marley and Sam Larry of Subpoena for Missing Witnesses’ Hearing
The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has warned Naira Marley and Sam Larry, among other witnesses, to attend the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death or face subpoenas. Following a request from Mohbad’s father for more witnesses, the court has permitted alternative service.
The hearing, which saw only one key witness present, has been rescheduled to September 30, with subpoenas to be issued if witnesses fail to appear.
At the latest court session, only Boluwatife Adeyemo (Darosha) appeared as a witness. The hearing has been rescheduled to September 30, with the magistrate warning that subpoenas will be issued if other witnesses, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, fail to attend.
Mohbad’s family has expressed frustration with the police investigation, criticizing their reliance on witness accounts and lack of support for an independent autopsy and toxicology tests. They have called for the removal of officers involved due to alleged mishandling, but the Police Service Commission has yet to respond.
Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023, at 27, has been at the center of controversy, leading to the arrest of his former record label owner, Naira Marley, among others. The Lagos State Police have formed a special team for the investigation and conducted an autopsy after exhuming his body.
