In related news, Nigerian musician 2Baba, also known as Innocent Ujah Idibia, praised Burna Boy by stating that he is currently one of the top five musicians globally. 2Baba made this comment after watching a video of Burna Boy performing his hit song ‘Last Last’ at a festival in Europe, expressing how inspired he was by Burna Boy’s success.

Mercy Chinwo Sues Ex-Manager Eezee Conceptz Over Alleged $345,000 Diversion

A Federal High Court in Lagos issued an arrest warrant against Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, also known as Eezee Conceptz, the former manager of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.

Justice Alexander Owoeye granted the arrest warrant after an ex parte motion was filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to an affidavit from EFCC investigator Michael Idoko, the commission acted on a petition from Mercy Chinwo, accusing her former manager of financial impropriety. She alleged that Onyedikachukwu was secretly collecting royalties from her digital platforms and events.

The case has been adjourned until January 24 for the manager’s arraignment.
