BBNaija S9: Fans Celebrate Zion and Chinwe’s Reconciliation

Published

on

Chinwe and Zion, affectionately known as Zinwe, the beloved couple from Big Brother Naija season 9, have once again delighted their fans by mending their differences after a recent conflict.

It is noteworthy that Chinwe was quite upset when Zion suggested she apologize to their housemate, Chizoba, following a heated dispute.

She later conveyed her frustrations to DJ Flo, indicating that Zion often contradicts her and fails to offer her the support she desires.

Chinwe even went so far as to threaten to terminate her relationship with Zion and leave the house, asserting that the show’s prize money held little significance for her, as she believed she could earn N100 million by December.

After nearly a full day of silence between them, Zion and Chinwe experienced a heartfelt reconciliation. Chinwe urged Zion to avoid ignoring her during conflicts and to engage in open communication to resolve their issues.

In turn, Zion asked Chinwe to refrain from embarrassing him in front of others, highlighting that her standing in the house is, in part, a result of his influence.

Coroner’s Court Warns Naira Marley and Sam Larry of Subpoena for Missing Witnesses’ Hearing

The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has warned Naira Marley and Sam Larry, among other witnesses, to attend the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death or face subpoenas. Following a request from Mohbad’s father for more witnesses, the court has permitted alternative service.

The hearing, which saw only one key witness present, has been rescheduled to September 30, with subpoenas to be issued if witnesses fail to appear.

At the latest court session, only Boluwatife Adeyemo (Darosha) appeared as a witness. The hearing has been rescheduled to September 30, with the magistrate warning that subpoenas will be issued if other witnesses, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, fail to attend.

Mohbad’s family has expressed frustration with the police investigation, criticizing their reliance on witness accounts and lack of support for an independent autopsy and toxicology tests. They have called for the removal of officers involved due to alleged mishandling, but the Police Service Commission has yet to respond.

Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023, at 27, has been at the center of controversy, leading to the arrest of his former record label owner, Naira Marley, among others. The Lagos State Police have formed a special team for the investigation and conducted an autopsy after exhuming his body.
